Grant Littler

Grant studied architecture at the Southend & Oxford school of Architecture. He qualified in 1971 and was admitted as Chartered Architect to the RIBA in 1973

He worked for number of Practices in London until in 1974 when he joined two colleagues who had formed Rolfe Judd becoming a partner in 1976.

During a period of over 20 years Grant helped to build a practice of over 120 people. Clients included Friends provident, MEPC, the Drapers Company and many more city of London based companies. Most of his work was in the commercial sector, but other work included leisure and residential.

In 1994 during a recession Grant left to start a new practice with Annette Fisher and Architect who had worked with Rolfe Judd. Finn Littler Fisher partnership was dissolved in 1997 when Grant Littler Studios now GLS Architects was commenced.

The work that this practice has done has been varied and includes commercial, leisure, residential and institutional examples include Littleton Chambers, Barratt Homes, London Zoo, the Harrow Mosque and individual houses in Ascot and Knightsbridge.

Grant has a great deal of knowledge and experience of large and small projects, and he has been dedicated to providing architecture of the best quality but conscious of the budgets and constraints that are often brought to the brief. He leads a team of professionals working for the betterment of the total environment.
